Before you start

The file picker accepts: .html, .md, .txt. The contents and encoding of the file must also be supported; an extension alone does not guarantee compatibility.

The download uses the .epub extension. Keep the source until you have checked the result.

What to expect

Check the table of contents, chapter breaks, and characters in the reading app you plan to use. A format change does not remove copy protection or repair missing text.

Limits to keep in mind

DRM-protected books are never decrypted or converted.

EPUB creation is intended for text and HTML; fixed-layout books and scripted content are not supported.

What if processing does not finish?＋

Read the error shown by the tool. An unsupported format needs a different input; running out of memory may require a smaller file or a more capable device. Keep the tab open while the job runs.
