What the network receives
Your browser still downloads the website and the converter modules it needs. Those requests do not need to contain the contents of your file.

Format notes
What browser conversion can—and cannot—promise
Local processing removes the upload step, but it does not remove the limits of file formats or device memory. We label those limits, keep unavailable legacy formats visible rather than faking support, and ask you to check important output before replacing an original.
