01
Before you start
The file picker accepts: .avif, .bmp, .gif, .heic, .heif, .ico, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .svg, .tga, .tif, .tiff, .webp, image/*. The contents and encoding of the file must also be supported; an extension alone does not guarantee compatibility.
The download uses the .jpg extension. Keep the source until you have checked the result.
02
What to expect
Check the output dimensions, transparency, and color. Some formats discard transparency or reduce color detail. Converting a small picture to a different format will not add detail that was absent from the source.
JPG does not preserve transparent areas. Check the background and fine edges after conversion.

Limits to keep in mind
Very large or multi-frame images may exceed browser memory.
